I’m Mertcan. A big fan of building things, especially with code. Well… I’m a software engineer, so I guess that makes sense. Most of the time you’ll find me writing (or reading about) Go. Okay… I admit it… I may be a bit of a Go fanboy, but lately I’ve been diving into Rust. I love the mix of simplicity and performance these languages bring.

I’ve always been an “under the hood” kind of guy. Not just with code (or my job), but with pretty much everything. I love learning and talking about how things work. I guess I just have a curious mind.

On the personal side: I’m passionate about cars (no surprise there), and I’m definitely a dog person.
